Having lived in our Hemp house for 18 months now, I can confirm they perform as well as the publicity says they do. Our ambient temperature inside, remains comfortable ,even during heat waves, without the use of air conditioning, and with only minimal heating during winter. We also love the look of our cottage, having been able to tailor the finish to our taste. I can’t thank Cameron and Henry enough for their openness and flexibility during our Co-build. My journey with HBN began back in 2020 when I made the momentous decision to sell my character cottage in MR. This was the year of the building grants so everything had to move fast. I found it extremely exciting but was terrified a lot of the time. Even just getting the documents ready and signed before the Dec deadline was a race to the finish line. Henry and Cam were very patient with my complete lack of knowledge around hempcrete and also the building process itself. I can’t imagine what it was like for them although I do know they handled everything that was thrown at them with calmness, fairness and complete commitment . We have just had a very exciting day picking up the keys to our new hempcrete home. Cameron and the team built it in 8 months and we couldn't be happier. Delivery was promised on 22 Dec but we already have possession and it's December 1st. Noisy construction next door but was very quiet inside the house. Cold outside warm inside, hempcrete really is good. I'm very glad we chose homes by nature. We had a champagne debrief with Cameron yesterday sitting on paint tins in the bare living room.
